Start with the customer and the commercial decision
The US launch brief should explain why a customer would choose the product, not merely describe how the brand sells it at home. I examine the use case, comparison set and buying questions, then turn the findings into positioning and content requirements. A useful recommendation can sharpen the proposition before the team commissions a large creative package.
The project also makes cross-team dependencies visible. Product facts, US saleability, listing work, stock timing and acquisition approval may belong to different people or partners. We define who signs off each input and which decisions can proceed in parallel. This avoids the common situation where launch activity is scheduled around a marketing date while the underlying offer remains unresolved.
