Vancouver, Canada / Remote delivery

Website development for Vancouver brands reaching US buyers

Introduce your Canadian retail brand to US buyers. I design and develop launch pages that explain products, clarify buying destinations and give your team content control. Existing checkout systems stay outside the brief unless separately agreed.

Canadian brand / US audience / Content-led launch

Separate the brand story from the transaction boundary

A Vancouver brand's launch page should answer what is available to US customers and where they can buy it. We plan the content around confirmed channels rather than implying that a new website creates cross-border fulfillment capabilities.

Product context for first-time visitors

Explain the range, materials, use and brand distinction without assuming prior recognition. Match campaign messaging to the destination page. Use approved product claims and photography, with named owners for collection changes, retailer details and launch announcements.

CAD and USD without guesswork

Label published amounts as CAD or USD rather than using an ambiguous dollar sign. Separate market-specific availability and direct visitors to the intended store. Your team supplies approved delivery and returns information; currency display is not a promise of automatic conversion.

External links with honest measurement

Identify whether the next step opens your store, a marketplace or a stockist. Define outbound click events and campaign parameters within the agreed consent setup. Purchase attribution beyond that destination depends on access and compatible tracking, not the landing page alone.

Launch the content without assuming a commerce rebuild

I work remotely with your Vancouver team. We identify audiences, store destinations and editorial responsibilities before design. Written approvals keep website scope separate from commerce operations.

Map markets, content and destinations

Review current pages, brand assets, launch products and Canadian versus US offers. Agree currency labels, destination URLs and who approves trading information. Record the systems we can access and the measurement questions those permissions can support.

Build an editable brand experience

Create responsive launch, collection and supporting pages with reusable content fields. Connect approved store or stockist links and inquiry routes. Checkout migration, product-feed synchronization, tax configuration and fulfillment changes are not included in this content-led scope.

Verify links and hand over publishing

Test mobile navigation, keyboard access, currency wording and outbound destinations. Verify agreed events on the pages we control, not unobserved purchases elsewhere. Review metadata and redirects, then document editing, link checks and launch ownership.

Questions before the US-facing launch

Are you based in Vancouver?

No. I deliver remotely and work directly with your team. We agree Pacific Time review windows, content deadlines and decision owners before starting.

Must we replace our Canadian store?

No. The project can focus on a brand or campaign experience that links to your existing store. Any changes inside its checkout need a separate technical assessment and explicit scope.

Can you track sales on a retailer's website?

An outbound click can be measured on the site we control. Confirming a subsequent purchase requires suitable destination access or reporting. I do not present link clicks as orders or promise complete cross-site attribution.

Who maintains the US offer after launch?

Your named content owner updates approved product information, currencies and buying links. We document the editing workflow. Additional markets or ongoing publishing support can be scoped separately rather than assumed in the initial build.
