Start with the customer and the commercial decision
Specialist inquiries often need a professional judgment before sales can give a useful answer. If the website asks too little, the team repeats basic questions; if it asks too much, the first interaction becomes unnecessarily difficult. I map what is required at each step and who has the authority to make the next decision.
The operating model distinguishes acknowledgment, fit review, a consultation and later proposal work where those stages apply. It also defines what happens when information is missing or the intended reviewer is unavailable. The objective is a process the team can maintain alongside delivery work, not a heavily automated funnel that assumes every inquiry is ready for sales.
